  • Kayaking is the activity of choice for those who wish to explore the largest lake in the Balkans on their own. Upon arrival, guests receive all necessary information and instructions. The tour starts by paddling through a river channel surrounded by water lilies and reeds. While kayaking, enjoy observing various bird species, as Lake Skadar is home to 280 different bird species. Admire numerous birds, including cormorants, seagulls, herons, pelicans, and ducks. Enjoy the natural beauty at your own pace. Part of the route allows you to pass by Vranjina Peninsula and the fortified Lesendro, a UNESCO-protected site, then past bird habitats and along the Moraca River. For those looking to cool off during the ride, swimming in the open lake or at local beaches is recommended. Take a break with fresh fish soup at one of the local beach restaurants before heading back to Virpazar. Important! The tour is stated to last 8 hours, but shorter stays are possible. This is an option for renting a kayak for the whole day. This tour has only a written guide. After the host provides instructions, the guest embarks on the adventure alone. Note: During the tourist season, Montenegrin roads are very busy, and parking in Virpazar is limited. Therefore, it is recommended to plan your arrival in Virpazar at least 30 minutes before the start of your boat tour.
