  • Đalovića Gorge is protected as a natural monument due to its natural values. Spanning about 4 km of untouched nature, there are two abundant permanent springs that form the Bistrica River. The gorge houses a large number of caves, among which the Cave above the Devil's Foothills is the largest and most beautiful in Montenegro. The gorge boasts a very interesting flora and fauna, and is also home to the golden eagle. Vertical cliffs merge with the river, so in many places, it is necessary to ford the river or navigate natural terraces, bypassing numerous whirlpools of crystal clear water. The tour of the gorge begins at the Podvrh Monastery, established in 1606, and ends at Glava Bistrice, a spring cave where the Bistrica River originates.
