Overview

The tour starts in Budva in front of Tre Canne and heads to Cetinje to visit the small court church on Ćipur, the 15th-century Cetinje Monastery with its Christian relics, and optionally the Njegoš Museum and King Nikola Museum. We then enjoy a tasting of local specialties, including wines, rakija, Njeguški pršut, Njeguški cheese, and Montenegrin priganice. The tour continues with a panoramic train ride and an hour-long exploration of Lipska Cave, before returning to Budva.

  • Departure from Budva, in front of Tre Canne. We start with a tour of Cetinje and its old core, beginning with the small court church on Ćipur, followed by the 15th-century Cetinje Monastery which houses three major Christian relics: the hand of St. John the Baptist, the relics of St. Peter of Cetinje, and a piece of the Holy Cross. Optionally, we can visit the Njegoš Museum - Biljarda, exploring the museum where the great Montenegrin ruler, poet, and bishop Petar II Petrović Njegoš lived. Next, we visit the King Nikola Museum, where we will see the authentic court life of the royal family. Then, we enjoy a tasting of national specialties at a charming local spot. Selected wines and rakija, Njeguški pršut, Njeguški cheese, and Montenegrin priganice from local producers. Afterward, we tour Lipska Cave, one of Montenegro's most significant tourist attractions. The panoramic train ride to the cave is enjoyable, and the cave tour lasts about an hour. The cave's temperature is always around 8 degrees Celsius, so don't forget your jacket. Lunch is optional and can be arranged in Cetinje upon request. After the tour, we return to the starting point in Budva, where the tour concludes.
