- The hike begins in the village of Gornje Lipovo, following a trail that first leads through dense forest. As we gain elevation, the landscape gradually opens up, revealing stunning views of the impressive Torna massif. Continuing upward, the trail reaches a mountain pass, then turns right, crosses a scree field, and leads to an open meadow — marking the start of the final ascent to the summit of Gradišta. From the summit, the views stretch in multiple directions, offering a variety of scenery. On one side lies the wide and gentle Sinjajevina plateau, while on the other, the Lipovo Valley unfolds below, overlooked by the steep cliffs of the Torna massif. We pause at the top for rest and photos before descending back toward the village. After the descent, we visit a local household at the starting point of the hike, where a traditional homemade lunch awaits. Prepared with local ingredients and served in a rural setting, this meal offers insight into village life, customs, and the culture of the area — adding a meaningful cultural dimension to the hiking experience. The route is approximately 7 km long and considered moderately challenging, with an elevation gain of around 870 meters.
