Just 10km away from the town of Kolašin lies the wild beauty of Montenegro's north, led by Bjelasica, the queen of mountains. Its volcanic origin has caused water to accumulate on its surface, creating streams, rivers, and lakes. Bjelasica is characterized by easy access to its highest peaks covered with dark forests, blueberries, and springs that form rivers and 6 glacial lakes, among which the largest is Biogradsko Lake, located in the heart of the National Park and Biogradska Gora forest, one of the three remaining primeval forests in Europe. On this tour, you can expect to pass through old mountain pastures, viewpoints, and ski slopes, where you will learn more about the history of our Bjelasica Mountain and the people who live there, and then you will get to know the famous peaks and mountain lakes at their foothills.
