- **Blue Cave Tour** **1h 40min:** Panoramic tour of the bay **30min:** Visit to the Blue Cave (swimming) **10min:** Photo stop at Mamula Island **10min:** Photo stop at the submarine tunnel **30min:** Visit to Our Lady of the Rocks Island The tour departs from the Old Town of Kotor and offers a beautiful panoramic view of the bay during the 45-minute ride. Along the way, we will pass by some recognizable landmarks such as St. Matthew's Church and the Temple of Our Lady. After approximately 45 minutes, we will reach the famous Blue Cave for a 30-minute stop, including swimming and photography. The Blue Cave is a natural cave with two entrances, formed at the base of a 100-meter cliff as a result of the sea waves' impact on the porous rocks of the Luštica Peninsula over thousands of years. Sunlight enters through the entrance, illuminating the water's surface and creating brilliant blue shades, giving the cave its name. Swimming inside the cave is an unforgettable experience. On the way back, we will have a panoramic view of Mamula, a natural island at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor, where the Austrian navy built a fortress in 1852. Later, during World War I and II, it was used as a notorious prison and is now being converted into a five-star resort. The next stop is the former military submarine tunnels used during World War II for hiding and repairing submarines. The tour continues with a 30-minute visit to Our Lady of the Rocks Island, an artificial island created by local sailors in the 15th century in honor of the Lady for their safe return from voyages. The current church was built by the Venetians in 1630 and houses numerous artworks by the famous local painter Tripo Kokolja, as well as many silver and gold plates—gifts from sailors for their safe passage. A unique tapestry, hand-made by Jacinta Kunić-Mijović over more than 25 years, is a special curiosity. The tapestry is partially made from her own hair, gold in her youth and silver in her old age. After 3 hours, the tour concludes at the Old Town of Kotor.
