- Boka Bay Cruise - Speedboat An extensive three-hour boat tour of Boka Bay starts at the city park near Kotor port. Our friendly skipper will meet you and ensure a comfortable start to your enchanting journey. Our first stop is a small artificial island in the middle of the bay. It is home to the church of Our Lady of the Rocks, after which the island is named. Many legends explain its phenomenon, but the most accepted one tells of the icon of the Holy Mother with Christ discovered by sailors. In memory of this event, local fishermen threw stones at the place where the icon was found, thus expanding the area and creating an artificial island where visitors can witness the church built in honor of the Holy Mother. The interior of the church dates back to the 15th century and houses countless baroque paintings (by Montenegrin and Italian artists), votive tablets, etc. Outside the church is a small souvenir shop where you can get something to remember this significant visit. After Our Lady of the Rocks, we pass through the narrowest part of the bay, Verige, where enemy ships were once stopped with chains, and continue our journey along the Tivat and Herceg Novi bays. This tour will also take you to the infamous Mamula Island, a former prison. The sight is chilling on one side, while its natural beauty dazzles on the other. Then, we make a brief stop at the old submarine bases. We end the journey at the Blue Cave, a place for enjoyment and relaxation. This spot, accessible only by boat, is famous for its crystal-clear sky-blue water embraced by the cave.
