- The Tara River, with a total length of 144 km (104 km of which runs through Montenegro) and a deepest point of 1.3 km, is the most popular rafting spot in Montenegro. It cuts through the Tara River Canyon, the second longest canyon in the world after the Grand Canyon. As part of the Durmitor National Park, the Tara River Canyon is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The rafting route lasts about 2 to 3 hours and starts from Brštanovica to Šćepan Polje, where you will experience the thrill of navigating through rapids, having fun, and enjoying the scenic landscapes of the surrounding areas.
