  • The Ostrog Monastery, built in the 17th century, is partly man-made and partly natural. It is located in the Bjelopavlići area, belongs to the municipality of Danilovgrad, and is situated in a vertical cliff overlooking the Bjelopavlići plain. Carved into the rock of Mount Ostroška Greda, it represents the holiest site visited by believers from all over the world. Ostrog Monastery is one of the most visited in Southeastern Europe. It is visited by believers of all religions from all parts of the world. Located at an altitude of 900 meters, it is in the central part of Montenegro, a two-hour drive from Kotor.
