  • The morning monastery tour begins at 6:45 AM from Tivat. The journey continues through Kamenari and Lipci towards the continental part of Montenegro. During the trip, you will have the opportunity to photograph impressive panoramas of Slano Lake and the Bay of Kotor. At around 9:00 AM, there will be a 20-minute break for coffee and breakfast at a tavern. The Ostrog Monastery is located in the Bjelopavlići area, belonging to the Danilovgrad municipality, and is situated in a vertical cliff, offering a view of the Bjelopavlići plain. It was founded by the Herzegovinian Metropolitan Vasilije in the 17th century, who is also buried there and was later canonized. He is a miracle-working saint. His body rests in a reliquary in the cave church. The Ostrog Monastery is among the most visited in Southeastern Europe, attracting believers of all religions from around the world. Arrival at the monastery complex is planned around 9:40 AM. Free time to visit the Upper Monastery of Ostrog, the Church of Saint Martyr Stanko, and the Lower Monastery of Ostrog is 3 hours. On the return from Ostrog Monastery, a 45-minute lunch break is planned. Departure from the restaurant is around 2:00 PM. Return to Tivat is around 4:30 PM.
