Gusinje Tour Guide
Tucked into the rugged embrace of the Prokletije mountains, Grebaje Valley is one of Montenegro’s best-kept secrets. Located near the town of Gusinje, this narrow alpine valley cuts deep between jagged limestone peaks, some of which rise more than 2,500 meters. Known as the “Montenegrin Alps,” the Prokletije offer dramatic scenery—and Grebaje is their crown jewel. The valley is easily accessible and ideal for hiking, especially the trail to Volušnica, which offers panoramic views over the entire region. In spring and summer, the meadows burst with wildflowers, and the air is filled with the scent of pine and mountain herbs. Once a remote shepherds’ pasture, today Grebaje is a magnet for adventurers, photographers, and nature lovers. And yet, it remains blissfully untouched—where silence echoes louder than words, and nature speaks in peaks and shadows.
