Zabljak tour guide
Zabljak

In the southwestern part of Durmitor rises Prutaš, a 2,393-meter-high peak known for its wavy slopes and layered rock formations that resemble bundles of twigs – hence the name. Unlike Durmitor’s rugged peaks, Prutaš offers gentle ridges and grassy expanses, making it one of the most beautiful and accessible viewpoints. From the summit, one can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Sušica Canyon, Bobotov Kuk massif, and blooming mountain meadows. Though it requires no climbing gear, the ascent offers a true mountaineering experience. Prutaš is a mountain of contrasts – wild yet gentle, harsh yet graceful. Its contours tell a story of ancient geology and of the timeless bond between humans and the Durmitor landscape.
